Envoy of Malaysia to Viet Nam visits Sri Lankan Fair at the Embassy of Sri Lanka
Excellency the Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai of Malaysia to Ha Noi visited the two-day Sri Lankan Fair held on 1st and 2nd November 2023 at the Embassy, which consisted of a large number of SMEs and entrepreneurs from Sri Lanka ranging from authentic handicraft, traditional masks, gems and jewelry, silverware, batik products and wood carvings, amongst others. A large number of Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese visited the Sri Lankan Fair. Excellency the Ambassador of Malaysia to Viet Nam Dato’ Tan Yang Thai after viewing the products, met with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka, Prof. A. Saj U. Mendis at his office in the Embassy. For purposes of record, Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai served in Sri Lanka as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Colombo for five years before being transferred to Viet Nam as the Envoy of Malaysia.
