Preparatory Meeting for the Gem & Jewelry Webinar
The Embassy of Sri Lanka convened a preparatory meeting between National Gem & Jewelry Authority (NGJA) and Viet Nam Association of Gemstones (VAG) for the Gem and Jewelry Webinar which is to be held on 27th July 2023. Both parties discussed on various ways to make the webinar a success and also about the arrangements for the Vietnamese delegation visiting FACETS 2024 in Sri Lanka. Both sides clarified their issues and challenges in various aspects and the meeting concluded with many successful decisions with regard to collaborative actions in future. With regard to the aforementioned formal meeting on 27th July 2023, the opening remarks would be delivered by Amb. Prof. A Saj U. Mendis and Chairman & CEO of National Gem & Jewelry Authority, Mr. Viraj De Silva respectively. Comprehensive presentations of the aforementioned subject matter would be made by the President of Viet Nam Association for Gemstones (VAG), Export Services and Export Marketing National of NGJA, and other representative companies with the concluding remarks be delivered by Minister (Commercial) of the Embassy, Ms. Kishani Wickramasinghe respectively.
