Meeting with the Director General of Immigration Authority of Viet Nam
Prof. A. Saj U. Mendis, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Viet Nam along with the Embassy officials had a courtesy call with the Director General of the Immigration Authority and senior officials of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam recently.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mendis was thankful for the cooperation extended by the Immigration Authority for addressing a myriad of issues related to Sri Lanka.
Further, Ambassador Mendis entreated to include Sri Lanka to the e-visa category and expadite issuance of work permits for the Sri Lankans who are gainfully employed in Viet Nam.
