Embassy of Sri Lanka in Viet Nam participates in Ha Noi Fall Festival 2023 Media Release
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Viet Nam participated the Ha Noi Fall Festival 2023, organized by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), from 29th September to 1st October 2023 in Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi. The fair was organized with the objective to introduce Viet Nam’s culture, heritage and cuisine to the World and also exchanging and promoting the culture, heritage, cuisines and tourism of other countries.
The Sri Lankan booth was one of the main attractions of the fair with authentic Sri Lankan food and Ceylon tea being served. The stall was colourful with Sri Lanka tourism attractions while the Sri Lankan handicraft items and Batiks added colour to this. Sri Lanka Tourism was promoted by distribution of tourism brochures in several themes, such as culture, heritage, bliss and wild, as well as tourism maps. Leaflets on Ceylon tea tips was also distributed among the gathering to propagate Ceylon Tea among Vietnamese.
Over 2,000 visitors both local and foreigners visited the fair and it provided an immense opportunity to promote Sri Lankan culture, cuisine, tea and tourism among Vietnamese people and also foreigners.
