Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Viet Nam met with Ms. Le Thi Hai Van, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Investment Agency of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
On the 03 July 2020, Mr. Prasanna Gamage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Viet Nam, met with the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Ms. Le Thi Hai Van at the FIA Office in Ha Noi.
Both Ambassador and Ms. Van agreed that trade and investment should be further strengthened between the two countries as it has not achieved its full potential. Further enhancement of people to people contacts, exchange of trade missions, exploration of potential investment opportunities for both countries were also discussed during the meeting. Ambassador Gamage noted that celebration of 50 years of establishment of formal Diplomatic Relations between the two countries as a good opportunity to achieve that goal.
Ambassador Gamage was assisted by Ms. Prasadi Boomawalage/ Third Secretary (Commercial) of the Mission and Ms. Le Thi Hai Van, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Investment Agency was assisted by Mr. Nguyen Tai, Investment Promotion Expert from FIA during the meeting.
