Meeting with Deputy Director General of Ministry Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam
Mrs. Trinh Thi Tam, Deputy Director General of Department of Southeast Asia, South Asia and South Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, Mdm. Tam visited Sri Lankan Fair held on 01-02 November 2023 at the Embassy of Chancery. A large number of Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese visited the Sri Lankan Fair, including Senior Government & Corporate officials and Diplomatic Corps including number of Ambassadors. Over 10 Sri Lankan SME Entrepreneurs who visited from Sri Lanka displayed their products and goods ranging from handicraft, batik, exquisite masks and wood works, herbal products, silver ware, and Gems and Jewelry, amongst others.

Amb. Prof. A. Saj U. Mendis, along with Minister Counsellor Mahesh Premathilake Minister Commercial Kishani Wickramasinghe, welcomed Mdm. Tam to the office of Ambassador. After an informal meeting/discussion with Mdm. Tam, she was presented with one of the most exclusive Tea brands in Sri Lanka and in the world known as Dilma Ceylon Tea, Porcelain Tea Jar. Mdm. Tam was accompanied by the desk officer of the aforementioned Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.
