Ambassador of Sri Lanka attends Convocation Day of highly-reputed VinUnivetsity of Viet Nam
On October 10th, the Convocation ceremony was held on the campus of VinUniversity, marking the beginning of an Academic Year 2022-2023. With the attendance of roughly 1500 students, parents, ambassadors and representatives of Embassies, and leaders of businesses and organizations, the ceremony was a special occasion to look back on the remarkable achievements of VinUniversity throughout two years of operations.
During his visit, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, A. Saj U. Mendis, was particularly impressed of the world-class facilities of the University, as well as the close affiliation VinUniversity has with some of the finest Ivy League educational institutions world over, mostly in the US. Ambassador is heartening to hope that, in the upcoming time, VinUniversity and academic institutions of repute in Sri Lanka could have an opportunity to discuss and explore possibilities of cooperation and collaboration in the dimension of joint scientific research and student-exchange activities.
